With Event by Wire’s new World Wide Tributes, family, friends and colleagues can preserve the cherished memories of departed family members or friends, forever in a matter of minutes. The new service is available exclusively through funeral industry partners.
World Wide Tributes simplifies the creation of meaningful video presentations and allows family and friends to contribute, making it a collaborate work of love. These tributes can be used at the memorial service, changed as new photos are discovered, and then shared with family and friends over time. Once complete, funeral directors can also offer the videos to friends and family as DVDs. These moving tributes will ensure a loved one will be remembered, celebrated, and introduced to future generations
Tributes can be created by the funeral service provider or by family or friends who knew the deceased best following five, simple on-screen prompts. At any time, users can invite others to view and/or contribute to the video online simply by entering their email address and sending an invitation. Unlike alternatives, World Wide Tributes makes changing the video simple. When new photos are contributed by family members or friends, or a new sequence is recalled, users simply select the rearrange feature, and click and drag photos to the preferred order.
Only World Wide Tributes offers users a choice of video segments for use at the introduction and conclusion of the video ensuring that the video tribute best reflects the life of the individual. Each World Wide Tribute can be personalized with memories, background music, thoughts, poems or stories about the loved one. Up to 75 photos can be included in each video. Once complete, funeral directors can download the tributes as DVDs and offer them as an added service for family and friends of the deceased.
Only Event by Wire offers a completely integrated system which allows the completed tribute to play before the webcast is broadcast and after the webcast is completed as part of the beginning of the archived version.
