People Want To Celebrate a Life!...Why Funeral Webcasting is The Right Thing To Do!

Event by Wire began because we saw the need to connect family members and dear freinds that could not attend funeral and/or memorial services. Over 25,000 webcasts later we know the need is obviously there and ever growing.

One main reason is the way society wishes to gather, remember and celebrate the life of the deceased! All of us in the funeral industry see this daily. Families are bringing in video tributes, asking for lively music, and people that speak bring smiles of dear memories, of their deceased loved one.

This photo on the left is of a Unicef leader's memorial service. Do you see the smiling faces? And, this makes sense when we consider that all religions view passing on as a release of the physical world to a higher state of being, whatever that may be. People celebrate the life and the passing more and more today. This is the change. Families today of course will always have the pain of loss; however, their requirements are changing to remembrance and celebration, and as an industry, we must meet and exceed their needs.

Families want all their family members and friends of the deceased to be at the service. We know that today it is almost impossible for all these people to attend. Travel, costs, health, work, and other committments get in the way. This is why funeral webcasting is so important.  We fill this need!
