Event by Wire is based in California and is staffed with individuals who truly care about the people they serve!  Our mission is to provide the best possible service for our clients so they in turn can provide excellent service to the families within the communities they serve.

The Event by Wire executive team is led by:

Dan Grumley

President of Event By Wire

Dan has 25 years of experience in Sales Management and has held the title of Vice President with many successful software companies throughout his career. A U.S. Army Veteran, Dan served in Airborne Infantry with the elite 82nd Airborne Division and held the rank of Sergeant. Mr Grumley is a Pilot, Scuba Diver , Golfer, Husband, and Father.

Dan lost his father in 2007 and realized that the funeral industry was unable to connect those in his family that were unable to attend his father's funeral. After getting through this difficult transition, Dan decided that he would build a company to serve those loved ones who were unable to attend a memorial service.

Steve Hamburger

Senior Vice President / Director of Marketing and Business Development

Steve Hamburger brings 35 years of experience in business marketing to Event by Wire.  He has enjoyed great success in thinking outside the box to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions for business problems.  Throughout his career, Steve has focused on total relationship development, concentrated marketing, and product development efforts that can both broaden the customer base and enhance existing income streams.

Mr. Hamburger is a former vice chairman of the STAR System® ATM sharing network.  For the past ten years, he has been a pro bono member of the Board of Directors' executive committee for the Ventura County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  He holds a Master of Business Administration degree, and is married with two sons.

Robert A. Cuadra, Sr.

Sales & Operations Director

Robert Cuadra spent 24 years in the U.S. Army and retired as a Sergeant Major in Special Forces.  Being a part of something extraordinary that serves others is his nature.

Robert met Dan Grumley many years ago while serving in the 82nd Airborne Division.  After being introduced to Event by Wire, he was compelled to join the mission.  Robert's experience as a leader, manager, salesman, marketer, and his commitment to preeminent customer service are in complete harmony with the needs and values of Event by Wire, and ultimately the clients and families we serve.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, is a fly fishing enthusiast, a guitar player, and a health and fitness practitioner.  He is married to a wonderful wife and has two great sons.
